Welcome to Jwala Devi Vidya Mandir Inter College

Honorable Late Smt. Jwala Devi established Jwala Devi vidya Mandir, a symbol of holistic education and excellent values on 19th July 1919 in the pious memory of her revered father Advocate Babu Rai Bahadur Singh from her own father's residence Kailash Mandir. Smt. Jwala Devi started a small school in the name of Sanskrit Kanya Pathshala" only with the help of a teacher and fifteen students.

Gradually number ot students increased in the school and space of Kailash Mandir seemed to be small and insufficient so in 1921 this school was shifted to a rented house at Bangali Mohal.

Later on, in July 1927, the presiding secretary respected Late Sri Mahesh Prasad shifted that school to the present premises.
